CANAL CAFÉ

CANAL CAFÉ
Sitting on a wooden deck? Under big, white parasols? Driving around in a small boat? In Tokyo? Yes indeed! This probably the most European place in whole Tokyo is called Canal Café and is located close to the French quarter Kagurazaka and crazy Akihabara. Being surrounded by skyscrapers, with massive kois (instead of ducks and swans which you might expect) swimming around and trying to get some food into their big mouth, and the Chuo-Line regularly passing by on the other side of the river, this place is a beautiful mixture of European streetcafé-atmosphere and Tokyo Metropolis feeling. Unfortunately, the variety of drinks is not very exciting. The drinks are served in plastic cups, as well as the cakes come with a plastic fork. - as the drinks - not very exciting, but the atmosphere is really great. Menu in English available.
